How do I get into the property?
Each property is equipped with an electronic keypad. Your entry code will be provided in your Check-in Instructions email you will receive 2 weeks prior to your stay or at the time of confirmation of your booking, if you are inside 2 weeks of your upcoming stay.

How far is the property from the beach?
The listing for each property has the distance to the beach towards the top of each listing in the bullet points.

Is there a pool available for the property?
The listing for each property will tell if the property has a pool. This information is towards the top of each listing in the bullet points. If a particular property does not have a pool, we suggest going to St. Joseph’s Bay Golf Course. They have a pool that is accessible for the public for a small fee, and you can enjoy food and drink from the restaurant.

Are pets allowed for a particular property?
The property listing will notate whether it is pet friendly or not. Only dogs are allowed as pets for our units. A pet of $150 plus 12% tax is required for each pet. Most properties only allow one pet, and the pet may only be up to 30 pounds. There may be exceptions to these rules for a particular unit. No aggressive breeds are allowed. They include pit bulls, Rottweilers and Doberman Pinschers.

Is the beach pet friendly?
The beaches of Gulf County are pet friendly. This would include properties in St. Joe Beach, Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas and Indian Pass. Beaches in Bay County are not pet friendly. This includes Mexico Beach. All pets must be kept on leashes.

Does my unit have beach gear included?
Some properties do have beach chairs, umbrellas and beach carts, but not all properties have this as part of your rental. Starting in June of 2021, your rental will be eligible to rent beach gear through VayK Gear and receive a credit towards your selected gear. There are other beach gear rental places available in the area as well.

What is the cancellation policy for a rental?
SeaStay’s normal cancellation policy is as follows:
a. 30 days or more out from the date of your stay – 100% refund minus 2% processing fee, if a credit or debit card was used to make the reservation.
b. 14-29 days from the date of your stay – 50% refund.
c. Less than 14 days from the date of your stay – No refund.
d. Reservations made through Airbnb may have a different cancellation policy. Refer to the terms and conditions on Airbnb for each property.
e. Note – If we are able to fill the time slot of you cancelled reservation at a rate that will offset the cost of your cancelled reservation, we will refund the cost of that cancelled reservation.

a. Grocery shopping – The largest grocery store in the area is a Piggly Wiggly in downtown Port St. Joe. It is large and has a diverse offering. There are several Dollar General locations in Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe, including a DG Market in PSJ. There are two small stores that have groceries on Cape San Blas (Scallop Cove and Cape Trading Post). There is a general store in Indian Pass as well.

Can I park a boat and trailer at my unit?
Options for parking are outlined in each property listing. For units that do not allow boat and trailer parking, there are places that will allow you to park your boat or trailer for a nightly or weekly fee.

What essentials are provided for the property?
The following items are provided for each property as part of your stay:
a. 1 travel size shampoo per shower or tub
b. 1 travel size conditioner per shower or tub
c. 1 travel size bar soap per shower, tub or half bath
d. 5 large trash bags – size of garbage can for each unit
e. 2 small trash bags per small trash can
f. 1 roll of paper towels per kitchen/kitchenette
g. 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
h. 2 laundry detergent packets
i. 2 dish washing detergent packets
j. 1 bottle dish washing liquid
k. 1 sponge for kitchen
l. Note – Each unit has different coffee makers, so we do not provide coffee or filters for the units.

a. 1 towel per guest (2 per person in master)

d. 1 set of sheets including fitted sheet, flat sheet and pillow cases for each bed

g. Note – Beach towels are typically not provided, but there are some units that do have beach towels. The listing for the property will tell if the property comes with beach towels.

What do I do if I have a maintenance issue during my stay?
Maintenance and repairs are managed by our management company. Please call 850.777.3096 to report any issues. If you call after normal business hours, follow the prompts, and you will be directed to a cell phone number where you can either text or call to report an issue. We perform regular maintenance on the properties and use some third-party services that may need to stop by during your stay. Pest control, pool/hot tub maintenance, A/C and heating, plumbing and basic maintenance are all part of what is done to keep the properties in top shape.

What do I do with trash that I accumulate during my stay?
Some units have curb-side trash pickup scheduled. Pickup dates are noted for each property. Some properties in complexes have trash chutes or dumpsters available within the complex. Follow instructions for the property for disposing of trash.

Each unit is equipped with Wifi. The Wifi network and password are provided in the Check-in instructions and on a stand inside the unit.
