Sea of Joy
Sea of Joy was the perfect beach house for the week. We have rented many beach houses over the years at several different beaches. Sea of Joy was by far our favorite to date. The owners have thought of everything a visitor might need during their stay and the house is perfectly designed for a large group allowing for large gathering areas along with ample private areas to relax. The elevator makes all of the difference during your arrival and departure, not to mention the huge benefits if you have members of your party that may struggle with stairs. Beautiful sunrise from the bayside deck and stunning sunsets from the beachside decks. We look forward to the opportunity to return to Sea of Joy in the future. SeaStay and the owner make the rental process easy and are very responsive to any questions you might have. Awesome experience! Thank you!

We’ve been coming the the Cape for several years and this was definitely the nicest house we’ve stayed in thus far. It has everything you need – appliances, cookware, baking needs, even the extras like saran wrap and laundry detergent, and all your beach needs! The elevator made it very convenient to get all our groceries up to the kitchen and helped my elderly mom move from the top floor of the house to beach more easily. The space on the beach was great – not too narrow or crowded. Our kids had room for a soccer “field” and more! Favorite house on the Cape!

“Sea of Joy” exceeded our expectations. Our party of 7 found a clean, modern house with almost everything one could ever need at the beach. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. The beach is wide open at this location and most of the days, we had 300 feet of beach to ourselves. We have already recommended this rental to friends and family, and can’t wait to return.

Our family of 12 enjoyed a wonderful week at Sea of Joy. Everything was very clean and good quality plus the extra beach amenities provided made our stay simplicity itself. They had the best equipped kitchen I have ever cooked in. Double ovens and two dishwashers made it all a breeze. We cooked all our meals in and never lacked for anything. The smaller LR downstairs gave our teens a place to do their video games complete with microwave and mini fridge. We ate dinner in the screened porch and later observed the awesome sunset from the upper deck. The upper deck was everyone’s favorite hangout when not on the beach. We grilled here most nights. You can also view the very active dolphins from here during the day. We sat here in the mornings and could watch our kids playing on the beach. One of the best places we have ever stayed and we are frequent visitors to the Forgotten Coast. Neither of the lots on either side are developed so you have a nice stretch of beach to yourself.

Sea of Joy is truly Amazing! – The home and the furnishings are outstanding. So beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. The amenities are simply over the top. Everything you could possibly need or want! The layout provides the perfect space for large groups. And the location of the house is very private. The deck furnishings are just so beautiful. It is so relaxing to rest on the decks enjoying the sounds of the sea and the spectacular sunsets and sunrises. Yes, decks for both, with views of the gulf and the bay. The bedrooms are luxurious, with lovely linens. The owner and property manager are so kind and helpful. They provide everything to make your stay exceptional. Our family enjoyed every minute of our stay at Sea of Joy. The beach is steps from the house, enjoyed by both adults and children. As one family member said, everything about the house and the location is just “jaw dropping” It was absolutely a Joy for our entire family to spend our time together in this very special and beautiful home. We will treasure this memory … Always!

Sea of Joy = Perfect Spring Break – We had the pleasure of being the first family to stay at Sea of Joy. The house was gorgeous, well decorated, extremely clean and very comfortable….the views…..amazing!! The owners of the house went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a great vacation.

Game Changer is a spacious home. It is extremely clean with comfortable beds in all rooms. It accommodated our party of 6 with room to breath for everyone. The private boardwalk to the beach was nice and well maintained. This is the place for serenity.

The property was terrific! Felt like home from the minute we got in the door. There were eleven of us and we really had a ball. We cooked together, ate together, watched NBA game finals together, told tales and I do believe each of us felt like the house was just made for our family. The location is perfect, plus the closeness of the beach and ocean and Scallop Cove cannot be beat. Also, I want to say the house manager, Wes Burton is one of the assets to this house rental. He goes above and beyond. To the owners of this property: Please know that he is priceless! We enjoyed our stay and hated to leave.

We were well taken care of and had fun! The property manager, Wes, was great to work with. This unit was well cleaned, comfortable, and had more in the kitchen than any rental I’ve stayed at. My wife and I came with four children and our family dog, and everyone was comfortable in their “own” living spaces. This was a two story cabin, but had a townhouse feel only when we went outside. The double decker screened porches got used frequently while we were home, for relaxing in the shade while being protected from any flies. There are two pools and a hot tub available on the grounds, and the smaller, closer pool was usually empty, save for a few other guests on occasion.

Amazing home, extremely welcoming. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely come back. Conveniently located across the street from a beach store and gas station and also in a secluded area. Amazing porches and enough space for everyone.

Our stay was great!! The house was perfect and Wes responded in a timely fashion! The pictures don’t do Game Changer Justice!! The house was clean, had plenty of pans, dishes, and utensils for our group! The personal pier was really convenient. The beach wasn’t busy, which made it feel like our private slice of heaven. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the sound of the ocean was peaceful. The patio furniture was comfortable. I would recommend visiting Game Changer to anyone looking for a vacation.

Lovely beach themed home, very well furnished and kept! Enjoyed our stay at this property not too far from Windmark and Mexico beaches. The home was clean, comfortable and well furnished. We loved the two porches with ample seating. We spent a bit of time on the upstairs porch enjoying the breezes and beautiful scenery. This property is close to the smaller pool on the property which we had to ourselves most of the time. The larger pool is on the other side of the property and stays busy but was enjoyable as well. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again. The kitchen was very well stocked pots, pans etc.. had everything we needed to prepare a meal.

This place is so nice it is clean and we felt safe, there is nothing negative I can say about it. The area is close to so many different beaches, we felt like we were at home such a quite, clean place. There was everything we could have possibly needed in the kitchen. We will definitely be making this place our vacation getaway again!

Great Place to Stay. The property was beautiful and it was obvious the owners wanted you to be well taken care of. Wes was very helpful and always available. The whole experience was wonderful. The state park almost directly across the street was clean and never crowded.
